The service I received for fixing a software issue via a recall went well. There were a couple of things that disappointed me though. First, the car was actually scheduled to have two recall items repaired, but the dealership did not have the parts to repair the door handle recall. I wish the dealership would have called me to let me know so I could re-schedule both recall items for the same day - rather than having to now come back a second time once the recall parts come in. Second, the service person was very nice explaining why the second recall could not be accomplished. However, when I asked if I could be notified when the parts come in, he said the dealership does not do that - since there are hundreds of people waiting for these parts. That answer struck me as not being too accommodating for the customer (me).
